Members of the Western Council have access to an extensive
network of experts and industry professionals. This invaluable resource
provides our members with the knowledge, support and competitive edge
that they need to stay on top. Western Council believes that information
exchange and proper employee training is the best method for problem prevention.
That's why the Council offers its
members a variety of venue options including training seminars, capital
program updates, industry committees, WCCConnection and the Outlook Annual
Conference and Exposition.
These training and networking events provide our members
with the resources necessary to improve construction practices and expand
business futures. WCCC is committed to serving the needs of our members
and welcomes member feedback and suggestions for additional services.
Training Seminars
Western Council sponsors monthly roundtable and training
seminars focused on a host of industry topics including: legal and legislative
issues, construction and project management and safety. Members are encouraged
to request training seminars as needed. WCCC also provides in-house seminars
for companies looking to train new employees or update current employee
skills.

Capital Program Updates
Western Council sponsors monthly Capital Program dinner
meetings. These events feature key players in large capital programs and
provide our members with timely information on projects out to bid both
in the private and public sector. Members love these events because they
are not only informative, but fantastic networking opportunities.

Members of Western Council are encouraged to participate on one of our
industry committees. These committees are focused on specific industry areas and provide members with additional
information and networking opportunities.
WCCConnection
WCCConnection is Western Council’s quarterly newsletter. The newsletter features
articles on current industry trends, project updates, the WCCC event calendar and an informative insert on recent legislative decisions. WCCC members
are encouraged to submit articles, photos and company press releases for
possible inclusion in the newsletter. Non-member subscriptions to WCCConnection
are available for a nominal fee. For more information on subscriptions,

Outlook: Construction Conference and Exposition
Western Council’s Annual Conference is a two-day meeting featuring
the presenters and exhibitors from throughout the nation. Attendees benefit
not only from attending sessions geared to their specific information
and training needs, but can also opt to attend certificate sessions, which
provide attendees with Certificates of Completion in their track of choice.
The WCCC Exhibit Hall is always a host of activity featuring product demos
and informational materials for the latest in products, services, technology

Distinguished Project Awards
Western Council’s Distinguished Project Awards recognize outstanding
performance in engineering, design and construction. These annual awards
are presented at the Annual Conference during a gala dinner celebration.
Scholarship
Western Council is proud to award annual scholarships to deserving students
in the construction curriculum. Recipients come from a variety of highly
accredited colleges and are chosen based on major, grade point average
and future goals. Over the years Western Council has received enthusiastic
and overwhelming interest in these awards. In an effort to increase the
amount of scholarships available Western Council hosts a number of fundraising
events throughout the year including raffles, scholarship dinners and
the Western Council Course Challenge Charity Golf Tournament. For more
