Safety Committee Purpose:

To collaborate on safety best practices and lessons learned in the Construction Industry and present our Incident & Injury Free journey (IIF)

Core Beliefs and Values:

• Every incident and accident is avoidable
• We can learn from every "near miss" or "incident"
• Honesty & integrity in reporting is key to real improvement
• Pretask planning and daily preparation is essential
• Safety is a 24/7 cultural obligation - there is no off season or time off
• Our families expect us to make it home every night

We must truly care for those around us and expect them to care about us.

Goals of the new Safety Committee include:

• Call for Industry ACTION!
• Assemble WCCC Safety Council - Sign Up Today
• Recruit trades, colleagues and competitors
• Develop common goals & industry vision
• Share "best practices" and "lessons learned"
• Set industry standards of training (i.e., SSW)
